Pre Purchase & Insurance Vetting
- 2 and 5 stage pre-purchase examinations
- Insurance examinations - including mortality and suitability for breeding
The veterinary pre-purchase examination aims is to identify abnormalities and assess and quantify the degree of risk so that an informed decision can be made whether or not to proceed with purchase.
Consideration will need to be given not only to the intended use but also future resale and insurance implications of any findings. For more details on what is involved and which examination is right for you then read our information on pre-purchase examinations in the Performance Medicine section of Health & Veterinary information.
Vetting for insurance, mortality examination and suitability for breeding may be required by your insurance company. We are able to perform these examinations and complete the required certification.
